Stone Raven

Oh how weak willed I am. Meeting finished hours earlier today so I found myself being propelled towards the lovely second hard camera shop in town. First I bought a smart, good as new Bellingham camera bag (with my birthday money, so no guilt there) and then I saw a used macro lens in perfect condition for half the price of a new version. Next thing I know it is packed and the credit card has been flexed. Hence, the picture of the raven. First picture with the new lens. I think I most probably could have achieved the same or better results with a lens I am more familiar with but - as my grandmother used to say - it is a start!
