Gratuitous Annual Rhubarb Blip

The granddaughters had another good night…waking at 8 a.m…..Mummy wants to know what we do to make them sleep so long…they don’t do so well at home… :-)

So they feasted on banana eggy bread for breakfast (mashed banana, mixed with an egg with bread dipped in the mixture and griddled in a pan)…a favourite that they always ask for when they stay here!

We met up with our daughter at Ackworth garden centre to hand the girls back..we also had coffee there….

Our old faithful rhubarb is well on the way - it never needs any ‘forcing’..It was through before Christmas…it is always an easy blip :-)

Soon be chutney making time :-)
