Rain in the distance

My drive home from work today. Patchy storms in the distance. Very warm day here. I could see the occasional lightning strike in the storm clouds. Everyone in the bush is on high alert for fires after these summer storms with lightning. The rural fire service (which is made up of all the local farmers) race to put any fires out as quickly as possible. My husband has been outside twice tonight to see if could smell any smoke in the distance. No rain hitting our roof so far tonight to cool things down.
