Meg and Co

We headed out to meet up with Meg for a lovely walk. We were thwarted by floods for most of the journey. It was surprising how many people thought it would be ok to drive through deep water- cars were abandoned everywhere Clearly broken down after driving through deep water. Stupid is as stupid does……the phrase that came to mind.
We eventually got to our destination by turning back and going around several times.
Had a lovely walk and natter with Meg and set a date for the next one. 24 years of friendship and each time we meet it is like we saw each other the other day.
Two coffee shop stops. One old book shop stop and home for tea.
