Water water water

The waterlevel in the canal Damsterdiep (close to my home) is very high at the moment because of all the rain we’ve had in the past days. Weeks even.

You can’t see it on the photo very well but the water is flowing very very fast to the sea. Only about 2 kilometers to go before it will be spouted onto the Wadden Sea.
Looking at the speed of the water it must be low tide right now.
