Aftermath

The rain certainly has caused some localised flooding in Stafford. We popped to the coop this morning and saw people attempting to get through a flooded road caused by a local brook. It was chaotic and later on when we returned from the funeral the road had been closed completely. It's not a great shot but gives a sense of it.
The funeral went as well as they can. Torrential rain on arrival but cleared up after and the wake was in a part of Birmingham that brought back many memories of my younger years. It was a relative of 'A' and although not the best circumstances good to catch up with his more distant family and his twin brother who I used to work with many moons ago.
