A long road

This took me a loonng time to get through for various reasons - so long that I completely forgot to blip it at the time. 
It's not that it didn't have interesting bits and it certainly covered a lot of areas that I know but its narrative left me wanting more. Maybe taking the point of view of a traveller's experience rather than just a -fairly dry- chronology of the London to Holyhead road.

Still, it had its moments and at least next year should be better in terms of reading for me...he says...
