Trip to the beach

In view of extreme wet and muddy conditions opted for a beach walk today. The beach was wet from the rain draining from the cliffs and the tides. The crashing waves were giving rise to a mist.

Stephen has been in negotiations to obtain a shared ownership new flat in Herne Hill. Although his practice earns him a decent wage he cannot guarantee when he will be paid for cases. Added to that the hit to his earnings caused by the pandemic he has had quite a task to prove he can afford the rent and mortgage. His earnings next year will be improved by him appearing in the Covid Enquiry on behalf of the Doctors. Finally today it looks like they are likely to allow him to proceed with the purchase. Much relief as you can imagine.

Let’s hope for more good news this year.
