day 59. did a somewhat heavy defoliation. got rid of many, many fan leaves and some non-dominant secondary branching. it barely looks like i even did anything. all the missing biomass should be replaced by weeks end. you can see the new tops a lot more clearly. with more light and air they will become more dominant.
