I've actually had a very good year - and, even though the children left yesterday and the day before for their own New Year's celebrations, Beck and I ended ours very satisfactorily: more free pizza, a couple of drinks at the Broadway, 'When Harry Met Sally' and not quite making it to the fireworks...
