St Swithin’s has nothing on climate change!

The rain just keeps on coming! Our village is low lying (thankfully we aren’t!) and so is prone to flooding. Yesterday one of the farms/2 farm cottages were inundated with water. The road was closed and fire brigade pumped the water away. The sluice gates into the haven were opened to relieve pressure. Now there is an Amber flood warning at the next village along (borders the Humber!) I will have to keep an eye out there for the sluice gates being closed in the morning.
