Back to work

So first day back after Christmas and the start of hot desking for me as our office is now empty and ready for the work to start next week. Today I’m in a meeting room that’s been turned into an office for the duration, housing three people. But as one of them wasn’t in today, I took her desk for the day, and this is the view out of the window. I won’t usually be in on a Tuesday (Wed and Thurs will be my on site days) but as it’s the first day back and there aren’t many senior managers about, I said I’d come in to check everyone was ok in their new desks.

The weather was pretty horrible today, with storm Henk blowing a hoolie. Lots of tree debris on the road on my drive home but luckily the worst of the wind had passed by then so I didn’t feel too worried about something blowing on top of me.
