MV Hoy Head

We made a run for it from the Bolthole – not really knowing if the Lyness ferry would be running.  When we arrived we noticed she was lying off.  But then she drifted in real slow.  The skipper did really well to get her in alongside and tied up.  Tomorrow’s forecast is the same ‘Dire – in all directions at once’.  We didn’t visit the gaming tables or drink our rum ration.  As we disembarked CMC’s brother and wife were getting on.  Bibs has made her first visit to the airing cupboard of the year.  I think I may join her.
