Wet dino

Wet and more wet - a new lake has formed on Southsea Common overlooked by our very own dinosaur . This bronze sculpture entitled ‘I stand for language. I speak for truth.I shout for history’’ sits on a stone plinth and was commissioned by alocal art gallery as a tribute to the original Luna park dinosaur that was burned down in 2010 on the Common. A CrowdFunder raised over 10K to build a bronze replica of the original southsea dinosaur and here it is.. It amused me that some one had tied a Southampton scarf around its neck. Tch tch!!
