Battling Bulls
Whilst tootling around the back lanes of Dartmoor this morning we came across there two Belted Galloway bulls belting seven bells out of each other in an enclosed field next to the road. We had seen the largest of these two running with a herd of females a few days previous and all was sweetness and light but today there was just these two boys really having a go at each other.!
What we thought at first was a bit of rough and tumble between to boys, was obviously a bit more serious and the lighter lad seemed to be getting the worse of it and you could feel the thuds as these huge animals collided with each other
We were in a bit of a quandary as what to do! I always thought you never put two bulls in the same field but was this something going on we knew nothing about!
There were no farms near by to seek advice so after some while watching them knock each other about we left. Now on most mornings we would come across a farm vehicle tootling about but today nothing In large you can see the results of their efforts
