I was so happy I spotted him, he's one of my all time favourite beetles - such a beautiful green jewel, he's a male flower beetle - Oedemera nobilis - sometimes called a 'thick-legged beetle' but only the males like this one has the thick legs, or thick thighs! Their food source is pollen, so he might be on a buttercup near you too! :)

Granddaddy's legs

Gym this morning, went ok. Home for studio work & a clear up of my study which was a dreadful mess again. Earlier blips tonight as off out to the pub, yes, you read that correctly, dad & I have decided to try a few pubs out... just the one tonight & see what the food is like. :) xxx
