First Day of Summer Woohoo!

Another long walk and another conservation area near my home.

The busy beavers are getting to work, though I did not see a dam, maybe just getting started. The ferns and mosses are actually growing on a big glacial rock. The reflection on the pond just looked so peaceful. There were many birds too - ravens, red-winged blackbirds, chickadees, nuthatches and even a great blue Herron. A brief meditation and a puppy by my side and all felt pretty good.
