When The Boat Comes In . . . Traditional

Today was father daughter fishing day.  They came home with these Gurnard and some Kahawai.  The Gurnard have attractive wing like fins.  They do taste good too. 
We invited the sister in law and her daughter and little family to an impromptu dinner of fish, sweet corn salad and oven wedges.  It is summer when the sweet corn arrives.  SIL made a French style apricot custard tart desert using apricots from her trees.  Delicious.
