The Grass is Greener

And the flowers are pinker the other side of the gate. A walk along the lake front in the direction of lunch brought us past this gate. It is the garden of a rather large and impressive building, the purpose of which we have not yet discovered. It looks important anyway.

A healthy lunch was followed by a fresh ice cream. Healthy eating I think is easier here than in Aberdeen. Not just because of the menu choice, but because the weather directs me to the healthier options.

In the afternoon a trip to Menaggio for an expensive afternoon in the textile shop. We needed a complete set of sheets for both bedrooms and a fresh set of towels likewise. A bit of a shock for the credit card, but at least it is a one off, even though it will have blown a hole in my monthly budget.
