A lazy morning indoors, some of it spent weighing up all the options for the rest of the day.

And I felt a bit restless on the creative front, so mid-afternoon I stuck my last roll of film in the old Nikon SLR and went off for a wander down the canal for some abstract/nature/shallow depth of field type stuff - 50mm, f1.8 all the way. Fading light, pushed film. Developed when I got back, negs scanned in just now. Here's 6 cropped images from the 38 I ended up with.

(Early evening there'd been family Chinese and a movie - The Menu. If there's anyone out there who hasn't seen it ...it really is a lot of dark fun).
