Blue Mecanopsis

A neighbour gave us some Himalayan Blue Poppy (Mecanopsis) plants from her garden last year, and this is now the first of them to flower in our own.

She said at the time it might take them more than one year to flower, so we're very pleased that this one already feels at home in our garden!
