Blue Lichen

I went for a long walk around the farm this afternoon hoping to find a blue dragon fly but this was the only thing remotely blue that I saw.

The morning was spent on pool maintenance. The hole where the kangaroo kicked it a couple of years ago was leaking so it seemed a good opportunity to do a proper clean out. A whole lot of sludgy white stuff is the obvious cause of the persistently cloudy water. Not sure what it is. Maybe undissolved stabilizer?
