Empty berths

Usually these berths would be filled with small boats. But it's the holiday season and all those boats are out sailing or fishing or whatever they do. So the photo was designed to capture a holiday moment when nothing happened.

The photo was also intended to show the perfect reflections of the poles in the perfectly still water. But between the idea and the execution the wash from a passing boat reached the shore, so those perfect reflections turned all wobbly.
