Happy New Year!

Busy morning, half watching the annual New Year Concert from Vienna, half getting the food and house ready for later. Five mins before we were due to head out for lunch Dad felt unwell but luckily after an hour’s rest he felt better and we were able to set off to a nearby pub with K&E for a thank you/New Year lunch. Lovely lunch by a cosy roaring fire. Came back home to continue the meal and festivities but K disappeared next door, fell asleep and didn’t return! E stayed for pud and cheese, but all the prep and effort I’d gone to that morning went to waste. Was not best pleased!!
