Happy 90th

An earlyish start for us given it is New Year’s Day, but we enjoyed a very peaceful walk with the pooches before our planned visit with Prue. She was having an adventure of going out for lunch with her eldest daughter, the first since moving to her care facility and her apprehension was palpable.

When Diane arrived to pick her up we headed home to get dressed for Dan’s 90th birthday celebrations.

His family did him proud with a fantastic lunch, including the pipes by a friend of his grandson-in-law, who stepped into play in his stead, as he and his wife await their first child in their current home in Dunblane, Scotland.

A super afternoon for us, and a happy adventure for Prue. It’s been a lovely first day of 2024.
