New Year's Day

Set out to walk the dogs and the village was gridlocked, suddenly realised it it was the New year's day hunt. Thought about stopping and taking a photo for blip, but since I have always been against fox hunting I decided not to give them my time.
I know fox hunting is banned and it is trail following now, but I have heard from some locals that they lay the trail to hopefully pick up a 'problem' fox.
Walked in the woods worried how the climate is messing up natural world. The hazel has catkins out, a woodpecker was drumming on a tree and it's the first of January not mid February.
Took this photo of this rather sad looking reindeer on the way home. At least it didn't rain while I was out
Did a bit of cleaning then spoilt myself doing a jigsaw my niece had given.
