New Years Day 2024

A view from the top of Darwen Tower looking towards Pendle, taken in part, for those of you who have some of your roots deep in the earth of Lancashire.
We began, this new year, with no particular plan or shape to the day but within an hour of leaving our cosy bed we were striding up to Darwen tower with Jess and family. We had lunch with them and then returned home to do some sewing ( me ) and wood chopping ( Dave ). Hope your day 1 of 2024 has been satisfactory.
