January Sails

As expected, we didn't make it until midnight last night.  However, we were entertained by a rather spectacular firework display nearby at 10pm.  There is a little complex of upmarket holiday cottages near us and we suspect it was put on for the benefit of the visitors there.

A beautiful morning this morning so we headed off to Blakeney and did the circular walk across the saltmarsh to Cley.  Lots of people out walking but we were early enough to miss the crowds; by the time we got back to Blakeney the car park was really busy.  This is the windmill at Cley with the sails shining in the winter sunshine.

The rest of the day we have been getting ready for the decorator's arrival tomorrow.  We now have furniture in strange places, including a bed on the landing.
