Happy New Year

SUNDAY

Harriet and George loaded up their car and, after lunch, headed off to Leeds where they are going to celebrate the New Year. It's been lovely to have them stay with us and it's always sad to see them leave.

We spent the night watching Jools Holland and the New Year fireworks and drones on the TV. Locally, we saw a few firework displays in the distance from the front window.

2023 has been an eventful year with my ablation operation in March and our move to Wales in April. Lots to look forward to in 2024 with Harriet and George's wedding.

I welcomed the New Year with a glass of alcohol-free red wine!
