Resolution

In 2021 my granddaughter Levi gave me a blank journal so I decided to fill it with words for her about what I loved and what I hoped for her. I was really good about writing daily. I gave it back to her for Christmas 2022.

While at Tate’s house in 2023 Mariyah and I cleaned out the closet in her former bedroom. Where we found a journal that she had made from crinkly paper and blank pages. Some of the pages had drawings and doodles that she had made. So I took it home to fill it with words for her. I started around her birthday in July and wrote some things until September.

Then I failed.

So now I am going to begin again to finish up this journal with words for her. Her birthday is in July so it will be my goal.

I will not fail this time!

Heading out for the first day hike! Not a resolution but a gift to myself!
