Happy Hogmanay!

My mum brought me back this tea towel when she visited Scotland in the 1970s. I think she only went home once after we came to Canada. It's hanging up so the folds and shadows show, but I didn't want to take it off the wall and remove the plastic bits at the top and bottom. It's aged better than I have!  :-)
It was a lovely morning for the last day of 2023. I went for a walk down Xwaaqw'um and thought that there would be plenty of other walkers, but I only met two with a dog on the trails. Lots of cars driving into the park though, as I walked the road back to the car. Glad I went out quite early.
