New Years Eve

The weather today has been awful again. There were odd spells of no rain so my husband and I took the opportunity of that dry spell to go for a 40 minute walk.

When the rain comes so does a photo opportunity of the our last remaining rose in the garden.

Since 5.30pm fireworks have been going off throughout the heavy downpour and Archie is upstairs under the bed sleeping. We have put soothing music on for him.

No going out for me on NYE. I confess I’m in my PJ’s drinking hot chocolate doing this blip. I do have a port and lemonade with my name on it to see the New Year in.
