'Sunset At The Windmill'

Another gorgeous day of weather today after our coldest winter morning in more than a decade. My car was telling me it was -2 C when I left for work this morning, but it warmed up to a very pleasant 15 degrees.

Also today is Winter Solstice, our shortest day of the year, which means as of tomorrow we're officially heading towards Summer and longer days once again. Woo Hoo.

I stopped off at my favourite local windmill just as the sun was setting tonight, the sky was amazing and the windmill was even facing the right direction for me. To top it off a few birds landed on top of it just for me. Thanks birds.

Our Hawks take on the West Coast Eagles tonight, so I'm going to settle in to the couch and put my feet up.
