Sunday: New Year’s Eve

It’s been a very wet day, lots of heavy showers and a chilly 7°C - bird feeders were filled a few times, the hedgehog biscuits had not been eaten last night, I’m presuming that it’s now cold enough for them to hibernate but I’ll keep an eye on their food saucer.

Still a few garden plants in flower: 
Snowdrops just peeping out through the soil
A single flower on the Rosemary (thank you Jo x)
Primroses waiting to be planted into pots with Spring bulbs
Garrya eliptica, planted into the border just a few weeks ago

Made Shepherds pie for MrD’s dinner this evening, which he thoroughly enjoyed, Cheese Pie for me which was also delicious - served with a fresh cauliflower and frozen broad beans and peas :-))

ADDED LATER: tonight’s films were Rush Hour (Jackie Chan) and Red Notice (Ryan Reynolds & Dwayne Johnson) - both films action packed and very funny
