A moment to relax
Backblipped (having issues with i-pad and laptop)
My cousin Sue came down yesterday and brought Mum with her. I haven't seen Mum for over a month and it was lovely to see her, Rafi has missed her too.
Rafi's NG tube has been out since Sunday night and he is doing well eating orally, and really enjoying his food. Not so easy getting fluid down him as it still has to be thickened. He begged Daniel the nurse not to put his tube back in when t came out, 'I don't need it' he pleaded. Well, looks like he was right!
His mood seems to lift occasionally, but he's still quite low and often talks about being in a nightmare and this being the longest nightmare ever. He can't make sense of what happened to him and is in complete denial. He wants to believe he's in his bed at home and is hoping to wake up.
It's been a lovely sunny day today and we enjoyed walking round the gardens here and eating alfresco at the lovely canteen at the mansion.
Sue instructed me not to use any shots with her in it, but I liked it, sorry Sue!
Steve a friend of mine is doing a hundred mile cycle ride on Sunday in aid of the Childrens Hospital Charity. To link to his just giving site click here Thanks Steve, and good luck!!
