Waving Goodbye to 2023

Not a great year, but better than the previous two. I particularly enjoyed the Coronation, Alcaraz winning Wimbledon, the Women’s World Cup, seeing a couple of big musicals at the Theatre Royal in Norwich, plus a couple of mini breaks in MK. The weather has been poor, particularly the excessive rain we’ve had in the last 6 months and the high number of named storms we’ve had so far this storm season. In Dec we had at least 88mm of rain (I lost some data in a power cut) which is 90% over the average for Dec. That means we’ve had over twice the yearly average, in fact we had at least 49% over the yearly rainfall in only the last 6 months!!!  I’m most looking forward to the Olympics in Paris in 2024, I love multi sport events.
