Flowers on a Saturday?

Our son and his wife needed to leave by mid morning as being away over Christmas meant they were behind on household things and as they’ve got people coming on Hogmanay, they needed to get organised.

They had time for breakfast before loading the car and heading off. They’d been gone half an hour or so when I found Henry’s coat so we popped it in an envelope to post it up to them.

After tidying up the breakfast dishes, Miss PHL and her flatmate headed back to their flat and we took Phin to the park stopping en route to post the dog coat.

Spent the afternoon trying to catch up on blip before its next year followed by a mish mash of leftovers for dinner. A lovely hot bath and The Best Exotic Marigold hotel rounded off a fairly relaxing day before we are sociable again on Hogmanay!
