Fungus growing on dead wood

I've no idea what this fungus is, but there were a few of  them, and I'm surprised (as I always am) how fast these things grow. When I arrived two weeks ago, it was so dry the grass was burnt, plants were wilted, there was  a shortage of fruit and vegetables, and I don't remember seeing any fungi in the forest. However, the next day it rained nearly all day, and we have had more over the following few days..
