Pansy

Pansies grow extremely well in the generally cool summers of Alaska, and they bloom from the beginning of summer until hard freezes in the fall. I have always wondered how the word "pansy" came to mean a guy who was kind of weak, as they seem to be the total opposite!
Another great thing about them is the seemingly hundreds of color variations.
They are also always wearing a smile!

Thanks to everyone who congratulated me on my 200 blips! How quickly the time has passed, and I have enjoyed the challenge and all of your blips and journals too. It's wonderful to know all of you and something of your lives.
