Another Month, Another Funeral

We are having quite a run at our church, and not in a good way. Since September, we have had 4 different funeral dinners.

I have mixed feelings about the dinners. Sometimes it's hard to scramble things together, and sometimes it's hard for the people to estimate how many people are going to show up. But, on the other hand, I love it when church members come together in the service and the kitchen, and things go well. 

We cut it pretty close today, Plenty of ham left, but the chicken had dwindled down to 2 chicken wings. WHEW!

Today's funeral was for Jean, who was 78 years old. She had a rough couple of years, but for the last couple of months had looked real good. She was a great lady and a great grandma.
