Posh lunch

We 'popped into stamford before a trip to Burghley this morning. 2 hours later (and trips to several shops, including new shoes for the boys), we discovered that the cafe at Burghley was closed, so decided against that option. Headed to Granny and Grandpa, had a cup of tea with them then went to lunch at a local, very nice, bistro with Grandpa. It was just perfect, and the open fire in a lovely old room was great. 

Home to collect new bedlinen and a new matress topper from waitrose and I'm very happy in bed this evening! Youngest has joined me and agreed that it's all very comfy.
