Trickly, Mini Waterfall

Trying to enjoy
weather in all it's glory.
Which is mainly.. rain.

Wet, wet, wet! 
Ben's bloods were a bit wobbly in the night so I was awake thinking about it on and off and then he woke around 4:50am to start the day.. he was appeased with books and iPad until 6:30am, so it could have been worse.  I had an electrician to deal with in the morning and then a quick walk with Leo and Ben, followed by lunch.  We tried to go to our favourite bakery to collect sweet treats for a wet stompy walk in the afternoon but discovered it was closed until 5th Jan!  Whoops.  Should have looked online.  Ben handled it mostly OK and we re-routed to another local shop we know and bought some rocky road for a walk along the beck.  It's so pretty, even in the rain and when you're not sure you can feel your fingers and a dog on a long lead has tied you around a gate; a tree and a prickly bramble bush :-/ This photo is just of a tiny little stream flowing into the beck but it still looks so powerful and organised.. like it knows exactly what it should be doing.  Jealous much?!
Ben has been quite impulsive and a bit of a handful but we've also played some xbox monopoly, some board games (globe trotter and organ attack) and there's been Prosecco.  So, overall the Saturday rating is positive.
