Kendal, Chocolate, and Kiddies
Another rainy day, another no dip day. I do have a cold shower, but it's really not the same. We bundled into two cars again, this time to Kendal. Parked at M&S and on the next corner was a Hot Chocolate Cafe called Kawkaw. All the choclate bean jars are lined up, named, from lowest to highest points in Cumbria, the lowest having the smallest percentage of cocoa.
I had 70% Great Gable which was with less bitterness and floral and herb aromas. Available as hot chocolate, iced chocolate or chocolate milk shake in regular cup and saucer or Large bowl. A joyous revelation to different chocolate flavours.
Nicely warmed, the boys went off to the warhammer shop and us ladies went to Armstrong Ward for any Christmas bargains where I purchased a lovely Christmas tea light holder...70% off. Love a bargain! Put that together with half price wrapping, tags and cards for next year, I'm easily pleased!
Back to Pool House to have a picky late lunch, before prepping dogs dinner for 11 mouths later and making a jug of Virgin mojito.
Emily, Josh, Elijah and Bo arrived about 5.30 and more present opening before we all sat down for tea. Quizzing, jigsaw and liqueurs with much laughter and love.
A great day.
