View from La Quille …

… our favourite café on Diablerets Glacier. It was an unexpectedly beautiful day today which brought out hordes of skiers eventually. However getting up early and returning home by lunchtime, misses the crowds and I was so glad! The conditions were fantastic, there were no queues, and the views from the Glacier look right across the Alps (two famous mountains in extras for you). I stopped often to consciously breathe and appreciate the clean air, precious moments above the maddening crowds.
