The clouds were clearing and the light was playing on the surrounding hills as we drove along the main road between Havelock and Blenheim, NZ.

Our son arrived in Wellington on an international flight yesterday, but the connecting flight to Nelson was cancelled due to fog in Nelson.
The next flight available meant flying into Blenheim this afternoon - otherwise it meant waiting another day for a flight direct to Nelson tomorrow.

We enjoyed the drive to a different airport and the changing scenery along the way. 

I’m tired and bed is calling. Tomorrow more family arrive so my fingers are crossed there are no cancelled flights!
