Biscuits and cocktails

I was up around 8 to hansel one of my Christmas presents. For a few years I have been asking for a rolling pin where you can adjust the height. This year I was granted my wish.

We had relatives visiting in the morning and friends from the west were calling in for afternoon tea. So I made some oaties as in one of the extras.

In the afternoon we sampled a piña colada mix which we had been infusing since yesterday, brought up by our daughters. Very enjoyable. Another extra. I even unearthed some inherited glass swizzel sticks and these wee umbrellas.

The evening was quiet listening to a musical.
