Sage Bees

My sage plant is really pretty right now, covered in delicate purple flowers. The bees go mad for it.
New macro lens took ALL DAY to arrive leaving me an hour to fiddle before book group. Frustrating, but it was a great book and we had a brilliant evening discussing the book/gossipping/drinking wine.
So this is the best of my experimental first shots. I can see myself getting really into the macro thing. Have you seen a snail's eye? Wow, it is a black dot on a stalk. I will try and put some in the blipfolio tomorrow.
So thanks Gladders for the tip off to get a macro lens. You were right, I wish I'd got one long ago.
