Speckled Mousebird

These common residents love fruit and always appear when some is on the bird tray. They have an unusual leg structure and usually hang from branches rather than perch upright.
I am continually entertained by the many birds that visit and I can view from my study window.
It's been a hot day. This morning I took Coda and Pumpkin to the Bark Park where they happily romped with six other dogs, mainly Labs. Pumpkin was again the only small dog but she didn't mind and happily joined the other dogs in running around.
