ROUND THE WORLD SAILOR, SHETLAND

Met this lovely man today, having just come in to land at Lerwick after a 2 year round the world trip. We saw the flags fluttering from his mast and just had to see why they were there. He had such tales to tell. I just wanted to take him home for a big hot meal, a hot bath, and a comfy unmoving bed, as he had just spent several nights sleeping in the cockpit because of the weather/wind conditions. It was a great privilege to meet him.
