Twixmas

A classic Twixmas day, food shopped in the morning for the arrivals tomorrow.  As they are mainly vegan as a family (as in one isn’t strictly the others all are, strictly) the shop involved a lot of veg.  And the cooking involves a lot of chopping.   Cheap though, entertaining vegans.  

I cooked some of the food today and wrapped their presents.  I am doing vegetable curries and compote with a few other extras.  Walked the dog and then in the evening went up the lane to drinks with our neighbours.  As it was pouring with rain Vikram drove but I, gamely, walked. 

We didn’t feel like supper and finished off the episode of Vigil I slept through.  Pottered about and on retiring to bed took a last picture of the tree. 

One always assume one gets a lot done but it’s often doing the same as the average Saturday at half speed.
